Entrepreneurs:
· Do not accept the status quo, they’re goal oriented and aim high
· Are visionary, they convert ideas into business, they allocate resources
· Are moderate risk takers, risks are calculated and controlled
· Act, they make it happen, they are ‘change agents’
· Motivate others around them
· Are innovators, not inventors
· Believe they will succeed
· Are self confident and need to achieve, they’re competitive and burn with a desire to excel
· Believe they can control the outcome
· Do not function well in traditional structures, they need freedom to initiate action/change
· Do not say “No”, they say “Why not?”
· Have high drive and energy
· Have high integrity, they say what they mean and assume that others do likewise.
· Are good to their word
· Have a sense of urgency, they always want to be busy
· Ooze enthusiasm, they’re optimistic and want to work
· Plan and manage their time
· Make their own luck, they bend fate
· Have a good all round knowledge of business, and are good at most things
· Are loners, but encourage team building
· Are emotionally stable
